Walks:
Walkers have access to a wide variety of trails throught the Otways and the Angahook State Forest. Walk from the Kiaora Caravan Park to Erskine falls or drive the 9km to take the short walk down steps to the base of the falls. other falls in the area to visit are Henderson falls, Upper and Lower Kalimna Falls, Cora Lyn cascades and the Phantom Falls.
In the town take the short walks to the Lorne Pier, Teddy's Lookout, Allenvale and the St George River
Sports:
Lorne is a sporting paradise. Enjoy surfing at surrounding beaches and experience some of the best surf in Australia. The Lorne Country Club provides Golf and Tennis. Lawn Bowls enthusiasts are provided with excellent facilities close to the shopping centre and beach. Fishing from the Lorne Pier, beaches and local rock formations provides excellent sport. An outdoor swimming pool on the forshore is open during summer along with trampolines during holidays and weekends. Paddle boats on the Erskine River, mountain biking and sea kayaking are also available.
